The Philadelphia Society was founded in 1964 by Don Lipsett and involved leading neoliberal activists including Milton Friedman, Russell Kirk, Frank S. Meyer, and Wilmoore Kendall[1]The Philadelphia Society is a membership organization of educators, journalists, business and professional leaders, and clergy.[2]
