Gary Aronsson is a member of the BNP and was a North West candidate for the party in the 2009 European elections.[1] An article by The Observer, provides a profile of Gary Aronsson in which it claims:

In November 2007 he was elected to the Solidarity Executive for a period of five years.[3] Solidarity has close links to far right organisations such as the BNP and Civil Liberty.
