IPN seeks to achieve its vision by promoting the role of market institutions in certain key international policy debates: sustainable development, health, and globalisation and trade. IPN's work is guided by a belief that free enterprise and its supporting institutions are able to harness human potential better than any other arrangement and are the best way to address the poverty and tragedy faced by many people in the world. IPN seeks to improve public understanding of the role of these institutions, especially in the context of international policy debates relating to the environment, development, health, and trade. They work with partner organisations and individuals around the world, coordinating coalitions, producing policy materials, organising meetings, liaising with the media, and producing and disseminating opinion editorials. '[2] IPN conducts, commissions and disseminates research focusing on health, trade, the environment, and development. IPN hopes that as a result of its programs, individuals will be better able to achieve their aspirations, regardless of race, colour, creed, nationality or human condition.
