Margherita Sacerdoti holds a Bachelor in History and a Master (Hons) in International Relations with a thesis concerning 'Democracies in Asymmetric Conflicts'. She is a Legacy Heritage Fellow at the Transatlantic Institute for the year 2008-2009 and her interests include EU enlargement and the Middle East. Margherita speaks Italian, English, Spanish, Hebrew and French[1]. During her studies Margherita worked as an intern at the UN Headquarters in New York in the Department of Disarmament Affairs. Moreover she has been student representative at the Committee of the University of Milan. She has written several articles on politics and Judaism for online newspapers (Such as the Tamarind), and has also been involved in interfaith dialogue activities and in young Jewish organizations.[2]
