Hamira Khan (formerly Hamira Sarwar) sat on the advisory board of the short lived Conservative linked think tank Social Justice Scotland and is a member of the Scottish Conservative Party as well as 'Chair of the Scottish Conservatives Community Cohesion Task Force.[1] She was selected as the Westminster candidate for Glasgow East to fight the 2010 General Election.[2]
