In 1995 the editor of the journal Alcohol and Alcoholism, whose parent body the UK Medical Council on Alcoholism is subsidized by the Robertson Trust. Reports claim that the editor in question felt that he was under pressure to "reduce the number of articles dealing with the harmful effects of alcohol" [2]
