Nick Davies is an investigative journalist with The Guardian. He should not be confused with the British journalist called Nicholas Davies.

In 2008, Davies published an insider's account of the corruption of the journalism profession typified by the manipulation by major PR companies and the willingness of journos to use PR press releases as sources for their stories.
Media Lens was skeptical of Davies' explanation as to why there was a problem with media companies and journalists/journalism.[1]
