Wolfe Levinson (later William Livingston, born 1899 in Hutchesontown, Mothers maiden name Edkin, died in 1974 at 74 under the name Woolf Levinson, though he was publicly known as William Livingston) was a Glasgow based Zionist activist and Freemason.
He was one of three triplets reported to be the first Jewish triplets to be born in Scotland. His brothers were Hyman Levinson (later Mac) and Chazkel Levinson (later Charles). It would appear that their older brothers and sisters (Lazarus to Charlotte or perhaps Minnie) were not born in Scotland. Isaac Levinson was born in 1904 in the Gorbals. Minnie may have been born in 1907 in Newington, Edinburgh.
The Hebrew Boot and Clothing Guild was 'grateful to Mr. William Livingston, who had once again donated a large quantity of new coats for women'.[1]
