Geraint Davies has been the Labour Co-operative MP for Swansea west since 2010. Davies was successfully re-elected in the 2015 general election, gaining 43 per cent of the vote and a majority of 7,035 over his closest competitor from the Conservative Party, Emma Lane. [1]
He was previously the Labour Party MP for Croydon Central from 1997 to 2005.[2]
Davies became a member of the Environmental Audit Committee in November 2015. [3]
