Robin Simcox is a research fellow at the Henry Jackson Society (HJS), and held the same position at the Centre for Social Cohesion think tank on extremism and terrorism in the UK before it merged with the HJS.
He was also section director of the Britain in the World department at the Henry Jackson Society.[1]
Simcox cites his expertise as: 'terrorism and national security, specifically: al-Qaeda; al-Qaeda inspired affiliates; Islamism; terrorism trends; terrorism legislation; state responses to national security threats.
He is currently working on a project looking at the 'difficulties in conducting espionage and maintaining transparency in government'. [2]

Education
Simcox holds a BA in History (International) from the University of Leeds, including a year spent studying at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and an MSc in U.S. Foreign Policy from the Institute for the Study of the Americas at the University of London.[3]
