Jim Sheridan was the UK Labour Party MP who has represented West Renfrewshire (2001-05) and Paisley and Renfrewshire North (2005-to 2015).[1]
In the 2015 general election, Sheridan lost his seat to Scottish National Party candidate Gavin Newlands who gained a majority of over 9,000. [2]
