Katy Clark was the UK Labour MP for North Ayrshire and Arran from 2005 to 2015.[1]
She lost her seat to Patricia Gibson of the SNP by 13,573 votes.[2]
Commons vote for fracking moratorium
In January 2015 she was one of seven members of the influential House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee who voted for a moratorium on fracking for shale gas in January 2015. Most Labour MPs abstained. [3]
