Ben Mathews is on the board of HSBC Holdings plc as group company secretary.
Career
Mathews qualified as a chartered company secretary with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. He then went on to work with natural gas company BG Group plc and in 2007 was appointed company secretary at metals and mining corporation Rio Tinto.
In July 2013 he was appointed group company secretary of HSBC Holdings plc.[1]
