Bob Ainsworth was the Labour MP for Coventry North East from 1992 to 2015. Ainsworth decided not to stand in the 2015 election and was replaced by Colleen Fletcher.[1]
Whilst in parliament he was the Minister of State for the Armed Forces June 2007-June 2009, Secretary of State for Defence June 2009-May 2010[2] and Shadow Secretary of State for Defence in 2010.
