Polly Billington is a former special adviser to UK Labour Party leader Ed Miliband from 2007 until 2011. She is now Labour's prospective parliamentary candidate for Thurrock at the 2015 UK general election.
Backgroud
Billington was a BBC journalist for 15 years, reporting for the Radio 4 Today programme and was the first ever dedicated political correspondent for Radio 1 Newsbeat.
