Matt Owen is director, content and campaigns at PR and lobbying firm Burson Marsteller.
Career
Owen held various roles at Text 100 Public Relations (1997-2002), group head at Brando (2005-2006) and head of digital media at Lansons Communications (2006-2007).
He was then head of public relations at Churchill Insurance at RBS Insurance, now Direct Line Group, between October 2007 and September 2013.[1] In November 2012 when Direct Line sacked actor Martin Clunes from their adverts for receiving 12 points on his licence and being disqualified from driving, Owen called in Burson Marsteller to help deal handle Clunes' sacking.[2] The following year he was appointed director, content and campaigns at Burson Marsteller.[3]
