Background
Arup is a global engineering consultancy firm. In July 2011 it was named as lead planning consultant for a new nuclear generation project in West Cumbria, England, which is being led by NuGen.
Other nuclear activities in the UK have included working with Somerset local authorities to assess the new nuclear generation proposals at Hinkley Point C.
