AG ‘Bertie’ Sachse is a South African soldier.[1]
He was awarded the Bronze Cross of Rhodesia while serving in 3 Commando of the Rhodesian Light Infantry in 1970.[2]
He headed Five Reconnaissance Regiment (5 Recce) with the rank of Commandant in 1983-84.[3]
He again headed 5 Recce, this time as a colonel, in 1990-93.[4]
