Zuckerman supported Barack Obama in the 2008 elections, but has grown highly critical because of what he perceives the administration to be insufficiently supportive of Israel. He was leading defender of the massacre of nine humanitarian activists by Israeli commandos on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla.[2]
