(Richard) John Micklethwait (born 11 August 1962) is Editor In Chief of The Economist. He was a Trustee of the right-wing think-tank Policy Exchange from 12 June 2002 to 27 February 2007. He has co-written a number of books with fellow Economist journalist Adrian Wooldridge.
