Hamira Khan (formerly Hamira Sarwar) sat on the advisory board of the short lived Conservative linked think tank Social Justice Scotland and is a member of the Scottish Conservative Party. She 'set up the Scottish Conservatives Community Cohesion Task Force and holds the position of Chair'.[1][2] She was selected as the Westminster candidate for Glasgow East to fight the 2010 General Election.[3]
