In January 2005 Anne Rose Lambers, former assistant to MEP Hartmut Nassauer, joined CEFIC as legal counsellor. MEP Hartmut Nassauer had embraced almost all undustry proposals presented by CEFIC he negotiated an appreciable weakening of the REACH proposal before its first plenary vote. CEFIC is an organisation which represents the chemicals industry in the EU.[1]
