Eugene V. Debs Rostow (named after the US socialist and labour leader Eugene V. Debs by his leftist parents) was an influential legal scholar, public servant and cold warrior. He was a member of the Democratic Party, Dean of Yale Law School, served as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs under President Lyndon B. Johnson and was appointed to the Ams Control and Disarmament Agency by President Ronald Reagan.
