Milan Horáček (born 30 October 1946, Ullersdorf Velké Losiny) is a former MEP for Germany from Alliance '90/ The Greens (2004-09).[1] He is also listed in the support group of EU-Russia Centre.[2]

- From 1968 in political exile in Germany; worked there as an electrical fitter and on the journal 'Gewerkschafter' (Trade Unionist).
- Member of the Wege 68 Association, publisher of the exiles' journal 'Listy' (Leaves).
- 1973-1976 Seminar on politics, Frankfurt (adult education) (1973-1976).
- 1976-1981 studied political science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt.
- Helped found the Green Party from the mid-1970s.
- 1981-1983 Frankfurt municipal councillor.
- 1983-1985 Member of the Bundestag (Foreign Affairs Committee).
- 1985-1990 Group specialist on foreign and security policy, human rights and eastern Europe.
- 1990 regained citizenship and appointed to the Council of Advisers by President Vaclav Havel.
- 1991-2004 Head of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Prague.
- 1998-2000 Bonn office of the Foundation.
