Globalterroralert.com is a website set up in March 2004 by Evan Kohlmann as one man operation he runs from his bedroom in a high rise apartment Manhattan’s West Village.[1] The site monitored Islamist websites and released Alerts providing English translations of significant postings.
In 2007 the website announced that as of November that year future original releases would be distributed through the NEFA Foundation, but that an archive of past alerts dating from April 2004 - October 2007 would still available on this site.[2]
