Jon Phillips is the Director of Communications & Stakeholder Relations for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.[1]
A former head of communications for Heathrow Airport, he was hired by the NDA in 2005 for a salary of well over £70,000 a year to manage its PR, with a deputy and nine other press officers working under him. Previously he led the British Airports Authority's successful campaign for Terminal 5 at Heathrow despite furious public opposition.[2] He had worked at BAA since 1992 in a number of roles including Community Relations, Media Relations and Public Affairs.
He had spent five years working in consultancy public relations before joining BAA. [3]
