Ido Aharoni Aronoff (born 21 August 1962) is a career diplomat with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to a biographical note:
- Mr. Ido Aharoni serves as a global distinguished professor at New York University’s Program of International Relations in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Aharoni is a 25-year veteran of Israel’s Foreign Service, a public diplomacy specialist, founder of the Brand Israel program, and a well-known nation branding practitioner.
- Mr. Aharoni served as Israel’s longest serving Consul-General in New York and the tri-state area to date. He held that position with the rank of Ambassador for six years (2010-2016) overseeing the operations of Israel’s largest diplomatic mission worldwide.
- Mr. Aharoni is a member of the International Advisory Council (IAC) of global strategic communications firm DC-based APCO Worldwide, Co-Founder and Principal at Israel based consultancy Emerson Rigby Ltd and Co-Founder and Principal at Israel-based investment company EA2K Ltd. Mr. Aharoni also serves as Chairman of the Charney Forum for New Diplomacy, Global Ambassador for Maccabi World Union and Global Ambassador for the Genius 100 Visions curated community.
- In 2013 and 2019 he was named among the “100 most influential people in the Jewish world” by Algemeiner magazine.
- He holds a B.A. in Arts (magna cum laude) from the Tel Aviv University and a M.A in Mass Communications from Emerson College in Boston.[1]
