- Lady Gilda Levy Chair and Co-Founder Gilda Levy was born in London, the daughter of Jewish immigrant parents who came to Britain from Vienna to escape Nazi persecution. She qualified as a teacher of English and drama and spent many years as a governor of a local primary school and teaching children with learning disabilities.
