James Gray has been Conservative Party MP for North Wiltshire since 1997.[1] In the 2015 election, Gray retained his seat with an increased majority of 21,046. [2]
Defence interests
Gray is a member of the House of Commons Defence Committee in the UK Parliament. He is also the chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for the Armed Services He also chairs the Armed Forces Parliamentary Trust, which seconds 35 or so MPs and peers to the three services for 12 months, embedding them for a minimum of 15 days to experience service life.
