A tip to make the referencing formatting quicker:
copy and paste the references into word and then use find and replace.
Probably best to view this in edit mode to see what I have suggested:
Find ^p (^p = paragraph mark)
Replace # {{note|
or
Find [
Replace # [[#ref_
Then
Find ]]
Replace |^]]
Then paste the text back into spinprofiles
Can you let me know if you have any problems with this?
