Dr Juan Cole is a professor at the University of Michigan and is a qualified historian. He specialises in Modern Middle East and South Asian History. Amongst many other papers, Cole has written extensively about Islamic movements, South Asia and the Persian Gulf. he is actively involved in many current affairs surrounding the recent terrorism movements since September 11th [1].
