Tim Pitt is a former special adviser to the Conservative Cabinet Office minister Matthew Hancock, and was appointed special adviser to Chancellor Philip Hammond in June 2017.
Career
Between 2007 and 2013 Pitt worked as a solicitor at Slaughter and May. During this time he had short secondments as a legal adviser to pharma giants GlaxoSmithKline and oil company Premier Oil.
In November 2014 Pitt was appointed a political adviser to the Conservative Party.[1]
Following the 2015 general election, Pitt was appointed as special adviser to Matthew Hancock.[2]
