Mary Robinson has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Cheadle since May 2015. [1]

Robinson defeated the Liberal Democrats candidate Mark Hunter, who had held the seat since 2005 [2], with a majority of 6,453. [3]

Robinson had previously worked as a borough councillor in South Ribble as well as chairman of their Conservative association prior to being elected. [4]
