Dan Rogerson Liberal Democrat MP for North Cornwall

Dan Rogerson was the UK Liberal Democrats MP for North Cornwall from 2005 until the May 2015 general election, when he lost his seat to the Conservative Party candidate Scott Mann. [1]

Rogerson's last political role was as parliamentary under secretary at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from 2013 until 2015. [2]

Political career

Rogerson was appointed shadow parliamentary under-secretary in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in 2005.[3] His portfolio covered water, forestry, rural affairs and resource management.

Previous roles also include, shadow minister at the office of the deputy prime minister (2005-06), shadow minister for communities and local government (2006-07), shadow minister for culture, media and sport (2007-07), opposition whip (2007-10), shadow minister for communities and local government (2007-10) and parliamentary under secretary at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs 2013-15 [4]
