Career
Perkins was the producer of the BBC six o'clock news from 2002 to 2005, before being appointed assistant programme editor at ITN, 2005 to 2007.
He held the roles with the Royal Family, first as deputy press secretary to The Queen and head of news from 2007 until December 2012 and then as press secretary to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and press secretary to Prince Harry, December 2012 until October 2014.[1]
From October 2014 he was senior adviser at Portland PR.[2]
