David Evennett has been the Conservative Party MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford since 2005. He was previously MP for Erith & Crayford from 1983 to 1997. He has served as: opposition whip (Commons) 2005-09, shadow minister (Business, Innovation and Skills) 2009-10, Lord and Commissioner (HM Treasury) (Whip) since 2012.[1]
In the 2015 general election, Evenett once again retained his seat, gaining a majority of 9,192 and 47 per cent of the vote. [2]
