Brooks Newmark has been the UK Conservative MP for Braintree since 2005. He was a government whip as Lord Commissioner of the Treasury from 2010 to 2012.[1] In July 2014, he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office.[2] He resigned from the Government on 27 September 2014 over newspaper allegations about his private life.[3]

Newmark owns the investment firm Telesis Management. [4]
