Background
Britain’s Energy Coast is 'a socio-economic development organisation that serves the communities and businesses of West Cumbria. It is made of four organisations, and trades as Energy Coast West Cumbria Ltd. These agencies are:

- Former Labour Energy Minister and MP, Brian Wilson is Chairman of Britain's Energy Coast.[1]
Activities
Britain’s Energy Coast is working with the University of Manchester’s Dalton Nuclear Institute to help new start-ups and existing businesses develop Clean Tech (Renewable) products and services.
