Rolf Lunheim is an engineer and social anthropologist who has worked extensively for the oil and mining industry (particularly aluminium) as corporate anthropologist and consultant on corporate social responsibility[1].

Advising on tribal opposition in India

During his time at Norsk Hydro Rolf Lunheim was sent to Norsk's Utkal Alumina project in Orissa, India to advise on strategies to deal with massive local tribal opposition to the project.[3]

Desert people: Caste and community : a Rajasthani village, 1993, is an anthropological study of a traditional Indian desert village.
