Ronnie Fraser is a UK-based academic who founded the Academic Friends of Israel in 2002. Fraser's doctoral research focuses on the attitudes and policies of British trade unions, the Left, and the Trades Union Congress toward Israel from 1948 to 1982. Fraser is an active campaigner against calls to boycott Israel for its abuses of Palestinian human rights. He was the academic secretary of the now defunct Israeli-run International Advisory Board for Academic Freedom and a "Key player in the overturning of the AUT academic boycott of Israel of 2005."[1]
