Dave Watts was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the British Labour Party for St Helens North from 1997 to 2015.[1]

Watts entered Parliament in the May 1997 General election with a majority of 13,962 votes.[1]

Watts announced in January 2015 he would be retiring at the 2015 general election.[2] He was succeeded by Conor McGinn, who held the seat for the party.[3]
