Controversies
Viridor operates waste incinerators, amongst its other activities. In 2009 a former Viridor employee, Patrick Sudlow, claimed that pollution monitoring records at Viridor’s Bolton incinerator were falsified to cover up poor performance. An article in the South Wales Echo reported:
