John Gordon Collier was the former Chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and the first Chairman of Nuclear Electric [1] which was set up to run the nuclear power stations in England and Wales. In 1990 he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society. He was also a one time President of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. In 1995 he delivered a lecture at the Royal Academy of Engineers. [2]
He died on 18 November 1995. [3]
