Israel Eckstein (born November 1977) is an American national resident in England who has been a director of two UK companies and a trustee of Orthodox Jewish charities in London, including Friends Of Yeshiva Daas Sholem Shotz and Inspirations.[1][2] He is not the same person as Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein or Yael Eckstein of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Charity trusteeships
Eckstein was named as a trustee of Friends Of Yeshiva Daas Sholem Shotz (charity number 1070789) on the charity’s 2014 and 2015 accounts and on Charity Commission snapshots archived on 5 January 2023 and 9 July 2023, together with Nochme Eckstein (also spelled Nechomo) and David Arie Aker (also spelled David Arei Aker). The Commission’s statement of results of 9 September 2026 treated that board as the former trustees in post when 66 cheques totalling £261,330 were cashed at a company in Hackney between December 2021 and March 2023; a new board was appointed in August 2024 and the charity was removed from the register on 20 January 2026.[3]
He remains a trustee of Inspirations (charity number 1109974), itself part of the same class inquiry, and of Kolel Bys Shlome Arye Trust (charity number 1091867), which the register describes as maintaining a college for advanced studies, with objects including relief of poverty and the advancement of Orthodox Jewish religion and education, area of benefit national and overseas.[2][4][5]

On Stonechase Limited he was appointed director and resigned on the same day, 11 February 2014 — the day the company was incorporated. The same same-day appoint-and-resign pattern appears across large numbers of his filings. That is the standard footprint of a company-formation or nominee first director, not of a person running 5,000 trading businesses.[9][10]
