Albert Lazarus Benjamin (1909-2006) was a Glasgow based Zionist, his mothers maiden name was Winer.[1] He married Judith Benjamin (nee Golombok) of the well known Glasgow Zionist Golombok family in Pollok in 1939.[2][3]

Family

  • Parents Hymen Benjamin (1870-1951) and Katie Benjamin (nee Winer) who married in 1906 in the Gorbals.[4] Hymen died in 1951 in Cathcart at 71 years of age. He is listed as a retired commercial traveller living at 127 Cartvale Road in Glasgow. His father was Albert Benjamin a Drapery traveller and his mother was Mary Benjamin afterwards Rosen nee Reinstein. the dearth certificat was signed by Albert Lazarus Benjamin of 595 Shield Road, Glasgow.
