Rabbi Natan Levy (born July 1978) is a British Orthodox rabbi, educator and prominent interfaith activist who served as Head of Operations at the Faiths Forum for London from 2015 to 2023 and co-founded the Abrahamic Coexistence Initiative with Mustafa Field.[1] He has been a leading figure in Jewish-Muslim dialogue in the United Kingdom, co-authoring public statements with Field, participating in joint initiatives at Collaboration House (a multifaith hub funded by Zionist philanthropist Maurice Ostro), and appearing at numerous interfaith events organised by bodies closely linked to pro-Zionist networks.

Levy trained at Yeshivat HaKotel in Jerusalem and received semicha from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate. He served as rabbi at the New West End Synagogue (2010–2015) before joining the Faiths Forum for London, where he worked alongside Mustafa Field to promote Jewish-Muslim relations through joint programming, public letters, tree-planting ceremonies, Ramadan iftars in synagogues, and joint reflections on religious festivals.[2]

His interfaith work has intersected with Ostro-funded spaces and individuals repeatedly. Levy has spoken at events hosted at Collaboration House, appeared alongside figures linked to the Ostro network (including at Faiths Forum gatherings), and participated in initiatives that received indirect support from the same philanthropic ecosystem.[3] He has also maintained public ties with figures such as Maurice Ostro through shared platforms and joint appearances promoting “cohesion” and “bridge-building”.

Controversial aspects

Levy’s sustained high-profile collaboration with Mustafa Field and involvement in Ostro-linked multifaith spaces has been criticised for contributing to faithwashing. By repeatedly presenting the Zionist entity and its representatives as equal partners in religious harmony, civic dialogue and youth leadership programmes — without addressing the settler colony’s occupation, apartheid policies or dispossession of Palestinians — these initiatives help normalise the Zionist regime. Such platforms, especially those operating from Zionist-funded venues like Collaboration House, often function to launder the image of the settler colony rather than confront its colonial reality.[4]
