HN22 is the cipher given to a former manager or 'back office' police officer with the Special Demonstration Squad.
On the 20 February 2018 it was directed that restriction orders applications (including for that of 'HN22') be submitted by end of February 2018.[1] No application was made for HN22.[2] No such application was made so real name will be published.[3] No names of back office or management staff have been released by the Undercover Policing Inquiry (except where they served as undercover officers as well).
