Hasan Afzal Is a British civil servant. He was formerly director of a group called British Muslims for Israel (which is now defunct), a project of the Institute for Middle Eastern Democracy. Previously he was a researcher for the right-wing think tank Freedom Association. In an article for the Jerusalem Post he has chided Israel for falling behind in the propaganda war and exhorted it to improve its 'hasbara'.[1]
