Federazione delle Associazioni Italia-Israele coordinates the activities carried out by nearly 40 local Associations and represents them in institutional relations, in Italy and internationally. The Federation states that the 'main purpose of the Associations is to contribute to a better knowledge of the State of Israel, under the different aspects of its cultural, political and social life; disseminate information at every level on the reality of Israel, encouraging the development of friendships with Italy; counteract disinformation and the onset of anti-Semitism.'[1]
