Aidan Heavey is the CEO and founder of Tullow Oil.

He was a UK Conservative Party donor between 2007- 2010.

Influencing politicians

According to the Guardian, British ministers including the then Foreign Secretary William Hague 'lobbied strongly' on behalf of Tullow Oil after it became involved in a tax dispute in Uganda. A spokesperson for Hague said, 'it is part of the government’s duty to support British business and British citizens abroad.
